Our Montessori Nursery in Haverhill
Nursery & Country Club
Our purpose-built nursery (with adjacent parking) is situated in the residential area of the Haverhill Research Park. The children love walks in this leafy, quiet neighbourhood, especially when we visit the community pond to see the waterfowl! We are near the ‘Spirit of Enterprise’ roundabout which makes us very convenient for
parents/carers travelling to Cambridge.
From each of our 5 spacious rooms, double doors open directly onto the gardens so that your child can spend as much time as possible in the open air: We are open year-round and children may attend full-time or part-time from 3 months of age. All meals are freshly prepared by our nursery chefs.
We want to spread awareness about the benefits of Montessori education and to be a helpful resource in the wider education community.
Using Montessori approach, we help children aged 3 months to 5 years develop in all aspects—intellectual, social, physical, spiritual, and economic.
Child protection is paramount to providing safe and enriching learning environments for our families in West Suffolk and nearby areas.
“Everyone is Welcome” regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, gender, nationality, or ability. We support initiatives such as the ‘Every Disabled Child Matters’ campaign.
Nurturing Young Bodies Year-Round with Freshly Prepared Meals
All meals are freshly prepared by our nursery chefs. Menus incorporate seasonal produce and are adjusted to children’s dietary needs where necessary. To learn more, visit our page about nursery nutrition.
Tracking Your Child's Experience

A dedicated team of professionals with a passion for education
It’s not just the children who are ‘excited about learning, excited about life’! We provide a wide variety of training opportunities for our team, not only to keep them up to date with the latest education and safety requirements, but also to further their personal and professional development. Learn more about our team on our about us page.
A truly Global Education
Montessori education inspires children to explore their surroundings and develop a deep understanding and respect for the various life forms, systems, and forces in our world. As technology increasingly connects us with people worldwide, it becomes essential for our children to use these tools to appreciate cultural differences. This will equip them to become global citizens in a rapidly changing world. To read more, visit our page about Montessori education.

We embrace the Early Years Foundation Stage framework 2024.

Testimonials
Contact Our Nursery
Natasha
Haverhill
Miss Natasha is the Nursery Manager at Colourbox in Haverhill. She is a passionate Montessori Teacher who has worked in Early Years for nearly 15 years. Montessori Philosophy is embedded in her everyday practice which shines through in this setting. “I love the way that the Montessori approach enables children to become strong minded, independent little people who are not worried about making a mistake.” Natasha believes that this will lead to fewer mental health struggles and stronger but fairer adults in later life. Her main love for the Montessori materials is within the Sensorial area. “Here you can actually see the children problem solving as they naturally use the work just by using their senses; it’s a beautiful thing to observe as a Montessori Teacher.” Natasha loves to spend time with her family (which includes her two daughters), reading, and going to the gym.

Embracing Montessori
Dr. Montessori believed that every child possesses immense natural energy and, given the right situation and stimulation, can develop skills and achievements way beyond normal expectations – regardless of challenges they may face in other areas of their lives. Only by respecting and nurturing each child’s unique personality and learning style can we help them to reach their full potential
